A MAN who is marrying his daughter’s ex-boyfriend has revealed he is now expecting his seventh child – and he’s already shopping for a yacht for the new arrival.
Dad-of-six Barrie Drewitt-Barlow had been expecting triplets with both his new fiancé Scott Hutchinson AND his ex Tony after all three men provided sperm donations.
Sadly the pregnancy was naturally reduced to just one child and Barrie confirmed to Fabulous that they are expecting a baby boy, having chosen his gender through sex selection, on August 7 2022.
The family doesn’t screen their kids at birth to see whose DNA ended up fertilising the egg and it will be Barrie and Scott’s name on the birth certificate.
Barrie, 51, and Tony, 56, have a combined wealth of £40million, and despite parting ways since Barrie found love with Scott, 27, who is also the ex-boyfriend of Tony and Barrie’s 21-year-old daughter Saffron, they continue to share their wealth, most of which is spent on their children and it seems that the new arrival can expect the same treatment.
The arrival of baby number seven may still be four months away, but big-spender Barrie has already earmarked some outrageous purchases to welcome his latest addition.

Barrie and Tony, who became civil partners in 2006, made history in 1999 when they became the first same-sex couple to be listed as “parent one” and “parent two” instead of “mother” and “father” on the birth certificate of their twins.
The dads won an historic court battle to get their names listed.
Twins Saffron and Aspen were conceived using both men’s sperm and a donor egg from the US.
Since then, the family have spent £1 million growing their brood, with Orlando, now 17, born in 2003.
Orlando is technically triplet to older siblings Saffron and Aspen, but the egg and sperm was kept on ice.
Then came ten-year-old twins Jasper and Dalllas in 2010.
Barrie and Tony married in 2014 but separated three years later – with Barrie going on to become engaged to his former PA, Scott, and Tony meeting his new partner Brent.
Scott is the ex-boyfriend of the couple’s daughter, Saffron.
Barrie and Scott’s daughter, Valentina, who was conceived using both of their sperm, was born in 2020.
Speaking exclusively to Fabulous, Barrie says: “We have not stopped buying things for him.
“He will be just as spoiled as all the rest of our children for sure. We have bought all the latest designer clothes for him and the latest nursery furniture.”
Aside from a few upmarket necessities, Barrie has his eye on one particularly eye-watering purchase inspired by his new son’s chosen name.
“His name will be River Drewitt-Barlow although we have changed that about five times,” Barrie says.
“But if we do stick with it I have the perfect gift in mind.
“We are looking at yachts right now in Miami and I was thinking I might buy the new one for River, and call it after him.
“Our favourite is around £3.7million.
“We also plan to make a few investments in his name.
“It’s only fair, we bought his big sister Saffron a £500k Faberge ring as a baby and for Valentina’s first birthday we forked out £600k for a flat in Manchester.”
It isn’t just Barrie who is splashing the cash ahead of River’s arrival with his older siblings also getting in on the action.
Barrie says: “The older children are worse than me for spending on Valentina and now the new baby.
“Saffron spent over £20k last month on baby clothes and Aspen spent £10k on gifts for him too.”
River will be born in San Francisco where the family will spend a few weeks before travelling to the UK for his official documents and then taking baby River back to their mansion in Florida.
But River shouldn’t get too settled as Barrie has big plans for a new nursery elsewhere.
Until now Barrie and Scott had remained living with Tony in their £6million, 10-bedroom Florida mansion, with Tony and his new partner Brent shacked up in a separate wing.

However, that is set to change with Barrie currently having a 15,000sqf, £6 million mansion in Essex built that is set to become his permanent home.
“It is time for Scott and I to move into our own place and the new house is the perfect location for us,” Barrie says.
“We are building a new nursery there for River too.
“I have ordered myself a £265k Rolls-Royce Cullinan and I have ordered scott a £160k Lamborghini Urus to be waiting for us when we arrive.”
Barrie’s spendthrift ways never go unnoticed by trolls but the dad says it is just water off a duck’s back.
“People will always have something to say about my spending but I couldn’t give a flying f*** what any of them think,” he says.

“I’m going to spend it all before I die – I can’t take it with me!”
