And the Mexican, who shocked the world in 2019 when he handed Anthony Joshua his first professional career defeat, looks in good shape as he prepares for a return to the ring.

The 32-year-old’s head movement was also on point, following it up with a series of heavy punches.
Ruiz Jr will be keeping an eye on the April 23 all-British clash between WBC champ Tyson Fury and mandatory challenger Dillian Whyte.

But Ruiz Jr says he’s hoping to take on the winner of that bout.

He told EsNEWS: “I definitely want the winner of the fight. A lot of people wish it would have been Fury and me.
“But you know, I think that Whyte deserves his shot, so we are going to see what happens.
“I think it’s going to be a hell of a fight.”
