ARE your snacks shoved in a box in the cupboard?
Or are they lined up neatly, in clear, labelled glass jars in a perfectly organised pantry.
One woman raised eyebrows on social media she took part in the viral “snack drawer” challenge, where users are encouraged to show off the state of their snack drawers and a shot of their parents.
Daughter Isabelle Merlin took a video of her mum doing some work at her desk, before taking the camera into the family’s pantry.
In the pantry, the floor was lined with bottles of soft drinks, while the shelves were full of cereals, pasta and other grains.
Anything that wasn’t able to go in a jar went in a large wicker crate, which was then put on the shelf.

There was even an entire shelf for dried fruit, with boxes of cherries, dates and craisins (cranberry raisins).
Baking ingredients were also organised into clear crates so their contents could be clearly seen.
People commenting on the video were quick to compare the organised pantry to that of Khloe Kardashian, with one writing: “It’s literally Khloe Kardashians pantry…”
“What in the Khloe Kardashian pantry is this,” someone else added.
While another person commented: “Isn’t this Khloe’s pantry tho.. it’s have the same bbq sauce, arranged the same way..”
But Isabelle replied: “inspiration at its finest… not her pantry tho!”
Others wondered how much food gets thrown away from the pantry due to going past its expiration date.
“I love this but am I the only one that sees this as so highly impractical?” one person commented.
“Everytime I see this many snacks, I always wonder how much has to be thrown out if not eaten in time,” another wrote.

While a third wondered: “When people do this I always wonder if they wrote the expiration date somewhere.”
“Yup labels on the bottom,” Isabelle replied.
