LOOSE Women’s Coleen Nolan has been left devastated after two of her cats were run over.
The 56-year-old star explained that drivers who failed to obey signs near her house were to blame as she opened up today.
The star, who often posts pictures of her pets, did not reveal which cats died[/caption]Speaking on Loose Women, Coleen called for more to be done to stop motorists from speeding.
She said: “I would like really strong signs on the road, especially country roads.
“Sadly of my cats have quite recently been killed on the road by people just ignoring signs on the road.”
Coleen added: “I would like to scream those signs out.”
Her Loose Women co-stars looked horrified at the news with Christine Lampard, 43, replying: “I know what you mean.
“They are there for a reason, of course they are.”
The star, part of the Nolans singing family, didn’t reveal which of her two cats had sadly died.
However, she often shares pictures of her pets – whose name include Alan, Prim – to her followers on Instagram.
Yesterday, pet-loving Coleen laid into West Ham star Kurt Zouma, who was filmed kicking and slapping a cat.
She raged: “An apology is not enough. Why aren’t they investigating? It’s absolutely disgusting the whole thing.
“I am sick of seeing these sportspeople, footballers at the moment in particular, who are earning more money that most people make in their life, abusing their power and their privilege.
“This today – honestly I wanted to cry when I saw it. For me he should be prosecuted and the cat taken away.
“He should be on the bench for a good six months, not paid. All the money could go to a cat charity or an animal charity.”
