AIRBNB is filled with all kinds of listings, so whatever kind of accommodation you’re looking for, you can probably find it on the platform.
From a UFO-like flying saucer to a massive Idaho potato home, there is a listing for every taste and occasion.
Below, we have compiled a list of seven of the strangest listings on Airbnb, found all over the world.
This Atlanta treehouse can accommodate two guests, and offers a “Calm in the crazy sanctuary for seclusion,” and was named one of Airbnb’s “#1 most wish-listed property in the world.”
It consists of three separate areas named Mind, Body and Spirit, which are each connected by rope bridges.
As the listing says, “What could be better than falling asleep in the trees and waking up to birds singing around you–all within the city limits?”
However, the bathroom is shared with the main house and there is no heating or air conditioner, making for a genuine nature experience.
You can experience it yourself for $389 per night, plus fees.
The Big Idaho Potato Hotel in Boise, Idaho, is certainly one of the quirkiest offers in Arbnb.
The six-ton potato is made of concrete, plaster, and steel, and measures 28 feet long, 12 feet wide, and 11.5 feet tall.
It used to travel with the Idaho Potato Commission’s Big Idaho Potato Tour before being turned into a hotel, according to Good Morning America.
Two guests can stay in the hotel, which has a queen bed and was designed by tiny house developer Kristie Wolfe.
“If you love the fluffy feeling you get when you eat Idaho potatoes, you’ll love staying in a giant potato turned cozy, grown-up getaway for two,” reads the listing.
Those looking for a night inside the potato can do so for $250 per night.
Located just five miles from world-famous Atlantic City, this 138-year-old wooden elephant named Lucy is a registered National Historic Landmark.
Lucy is also one the oldest roadside attractions in America.
The hotel is six stories high and its interior is decorated with an eclectic Victorian vibe
“I hosted my first stay in 1902, and over the years, I’ve been a tavern and hosted a United States President. Today, I’m one of the Jersey Shore’s most recognizable faces,” says the attraction’s listing.
“As you step inside my walls (and up 25 steps), you’ll be transported back in time to the 1800s, where you will feel the Victorian Era come alive,” it adds.
There is one room in the hotel, which can accommodate two people for $138 a night, plus fees.
Those looking for an extraterrestrial experience could find it in this flying saucer in South Pembrokeshire, in the United Kingdom.
This one-of-a-kind spaceship offers a monitor for gaming classic 80’s games like space invaders and defender, per its listing.
There are three beds, a double and two singles, inside which can accommodate up to four guests.
As for the hatch, it is remote-controlled.
You can stay at this funky place for $267 a night, plus fees.
You can stay in a Cold War-era ballistic missile silo near where a “UFO once crashed” for around $500 a night.
The missile base/bunker property — dubbed the “True Cold War Relic Atlas F Missile Silo/ Bunker” — is located in Roswell, New Mexico.
According to the Airbnb listing, which has been rated 4.98 stars, the property has an “underground Launch Control Center and a Utility Tunnel that leads to the 186 ft deep Missile Silo, with much of its original floors still intact.”
Gary Baker, the owner of the missile silo, explains on the property listening that visitors can “enjoy the former upper level of the launch control center as your private apartment with numerous books and displays showing the early days of our Missile Heritage as well as a complete living suite.”
The room offered is a private room with two beds and one private bath.
“Owners live on the lower level of the former launch control center,” the listing notes.
The unique space, which has underground cellular service and Wi-Fi, is surrounded by the High Desert of Southeastern, New Mexico.
The silo costs approximately $550 for one night, not including the added cleaning, service, and occupancy taxes and fees.
This treehouse surrounded by greenery in the outskirts of Paris is the perfect spot for a romantic getaway.
It is located near a golf course and has a Nordic bath, as well as a mysterious, hovering sphere outside of it.
Two can stay in this wood marvel for $339 per night, plus fees.
“The best experience,” says one of the listings‘ reviews.
Located in the Andean region of La Pacha, Peru, this dome hotel sits on the base of the Pachatusan Mountain.
Each dome can host two guest and includes one double bed, feather duvet, private bathroom with hot shower, kitchenette, drinking well water, wifi access in the garden
“A peaceful place for relaxing in the stillness of nature, without sacrificing modern comforts, while discovering the historic hidden treasures of the Andean culture,” reads the listing.
And you can stay here for only $25 per night, plus any relevant fees.
