DEAR DEIDRE: Help! I’m stuck in a dangerous hostel with my baby and I’m scared.
I’m 21 and have a four-month-old daughter. My parents kicked me out so it was this hostel, or the streets.
No issue is too small, too large or too embarrassing. Read our personal replies here.
It’s disgusting: there’s broken glass in the hallway, and my tiny room is damp, covered in mould, with peeling paint and the taps don’t work.
This is not healthy for my daughter. I don’t want her growing up here.
I don’t even have proper formula milk for her – the stuff that was donated was out of date.
Every problem gets a personal reply, usually within 24 hours weekdays.

The staff don’t care. I’m feeling alone, heartbroken and depressed.
I have no money but I need to get us out of this place.
