BRITAIN’S Got Talent’s rarely-seen child star Dylan Byrd is almost unrecognisable six years after appearing on the ITV show.
The dancer was just 16 years old when he auditioned for Simon Cowell and co., making it through to the 2015 semi-finals.
Dylan was a teenager when he danced on Britain’s Got Talent[/caption] He is almost unrecognisable these days[/caption]Dylan’s audition was incredibly memorable, with the confident teen performing an energetic routine to Bang Bang by Jessie J, Ariana Grande, and Nicki Minaj.
Interestingly, Alesha Dixon actually buzzed Dylan’s audition – but Simon, David Walliams, and Amanda Holden sent him through to the next stage.
In his live semi-final performance, Dylan performed to a medley of fast-paced songs including Shake It Off by Taylor Swift, and Meghan Trainor’s Lips Are Movin.
Alesha didn’t buzz him this time around and appeared to enjoy the performance, but Dylan only placed 8th in the public vote with just a 3% share.
His Britain’s Got Talent series was ultimately won by dog tricks duo Jules O’Dwyer & Matisse, with magician Jamie Raven landing in second place.
Now in his early 20s, Dylan lives a regular life – sharing glimpses into it on his Instagram page, with regular snaps with friends and family.
He graduated University in November 2019, though it is not clear what his degree was in.
It appears that Dylan is still pursuing creative interests, with tagged photos showing him a part of a local theatre community.
And the teen dancer also shares occasional throwbacks to celebs he met during his time on the ITV series, including Jesy Nelson.
