INTERNET sleuths remain convinced that Gabby Petito’s fiancé Brian Laundrie is “sipping margaritas in Mexico” – weeks after his partial remains were found in the Florida wilderness.
Cops made the discovery on October 20 as they endlessly combed the Carlton Reserve in Sarasota, Florida.

Partial remains were unearthed alongside a notebook and backpack, believed to belong to the 23-year-old, but some online sleuths claim he’s drinking cocktails in Mexico.
One Facebook user said: “He is probably in Mexico sipping on a margarita.”
As cops tried to find Laundrie, sleuths speculated about his potential whereabouts.
During the search, “internet detectives” shared an image that they claimed showed Laundrie at a restaurant in Mexico.
There was no evidence to suggest that Laundrie was in Mexico at any time during the search.
The remains were positively identified as belonging to Laundrie through his dental records, prompting sleuths to speculate that he was getting “implants” fitted.
The location where the bones were found had previously been submerged in four feet of storm waters for more than a month.
A cause, manner, and date of death have not yet been determined after an autopsy came back inconclusive.
Laundrie’s remains have been given to an anthropologist for further tests.
Following the discovery, a sleeping bag was unearthed by sleuths who appear to be still on the hunt for potential clues.
A TikTok video was captioned: Local woman finds old sleeping bag near where Brian Laundre was found. We checked it out.”
The clip shows the sleeping bag hidden among leaves and dirt along the trail of the Myakkahatchee Creek Environmental Park.
Sleuths also claimed they spotted “alligator bones” near the site where the remains were found, fueling speculation that Laundrie may have been eaten.
A Twitter user, known only as Olivia, claims she found “bones” around 60 yards from where Laundrie’s remains were reportedly unearthed.
She teased “Could be animal” as she uploaded several snaps of the discovery.
One sleuth said: “Definitely gator. They have those long spike extrusions on spoke bones. I feel when the water levels rise, Gators migrated to him and then went back out father as the water receded.”
Another speculated: “I’m sure those gators roam and don’t just stay in the water.”
Alligators kill their prey by clamping their jaws before dragging them underwater.
Sleuths have continued to share wild theories almost a month after Laundrie’s remains were found.
Some suggested that a leg found in a Tampa bay could’ve belonged to the fugitive. There’s no evidence to support these claims.
Sleuths also claim that Laundrie’s “creepy” content on Pinterest could have predicted his fate as he posted about the “afterlife”.
His Pinterest account was filled with several disturbing contents, including a frame that depicted Bart Simpson’s soul leaving his body as the character says, “Hey cool I’m dead!”
