Devon Conway broke his finger in frustration against England and now misses Sunday’s final vs Australia[/caption] New Zealand star Devon Conway was angry after being stumped by Jos Buttler off England’s occasional spin-bowler Liam Livingstone[/caption]New Zealand coach Gary Stead said: “He’s absolutely gutted to be ruled out like this at this time.
“Devon is hugely passionate about playing for the Black Caps and no one is more disappointed at the moment than he is.
“So we’re really trying to rally around him.
“It looked a pretty innocuous reactionary incident on the field.
“But the blow obviously caught the bat between the glove padding.
“And while it’s not the smartest thing he’s done there’s certainly an element of bad luck in the injury.
“Devon is a great team-man and a very popular member of the side so we’re all feeling for him.”
Matthew Wade blitzed the Aussies into Sunday’s final by hitting three sixes from the final three balls in the semi-final against Pakistan.

Wicketkeeper Wade whacked his trio of maximums off left-arm speedster Shaheen Shah Afridi as Australia won by five wickets with an over to spare.
Wade’s three maximums from successive balls – including two ramps over the boundary – came the delivery after he survived a dropped dolly catch by Hasan Ali at deep mid-wicket.
It means the England players and coaches heading to the Ashes from the tournament will not be able to fly until Monday because they are sharing a charter flight with the Aussies.
