Nuno Espirito Santo next club odds: Aston Villa and Norwich most likely clubs after Tottenham sacking

BOOKIES are backing Nuno Espirito Santo to make an immediate return to management.

The Portuguese was given his marching orders just four months and 17 games into his Spurs tenure.

Tottenham had lost five of their past seven top-flight matches and sit eighth in the Premier League, 10 points behind leaders Chelsea.

Supporters were disappointed with their sides lack of cutting edge having failed to register a single shot on target during their 3-0 defeat to Manchester United.

But Nuno could be back sooner than expected with Betfair already pricing up his next destination.

Villa are favourites at 3/1 with pressure mounting on Smith.

They were thrashed 4-1 by West Ham on Sunday, a result which condemned them to a fourth consecutive Premier League defeat.

The result leaves Smith’s side in 15th position with 10 points from a possible 30 and three clear of Burnley in the relegation zone.
