A GROUP of men targeted Declan Donnelly’s home while he slept as part of a plot to steal luxury cars worth £750,000, a court heard.
The TV presenter’s Range Rover was among the flash motors the gang set their sights on, it is said.
Police were called to Dec’s £5million home in West London on April 6 but the alleged thieves had already fled empty-handed.
Dec, 45, his wife Ali, 43, and daughter Isla were reportedly asleep at the time and were unaware until they were later told by police.
His co-presenter, Ant McPartlin, 45, used to live in the same road but moved out after his split from Lisa Armstrong.
Dec is among 12 alleged victims of the plot to steal cars, mainly Range Rovers.
A total of 12 men have been charged with a string of offences related to the raids.
Ellis Glynne, 29, Connor Murray, 21, Perry Ogle, 23, and Vinothkumar Ratnam, 37, all pleaded guilty to conspiracy to steal the cars between January 1 and July 9 this year.
Glynne, Murray and Ogle also pleaded guilty to a second count of conspiracy to burgle.
Alfie Chandler, 18, denied conspiracy to steal the vehicles at Kingston Crown Court, while Tommy Hutchinson did not enter a plea.
The former also denied conspiracy to burgle alongside another man, Jack Foley, 24.
The charge relates to a plot to allegedly steal 11 electric bikes from Velospeed in Thatcham, Berks.
Ryan Crafts and Charlie Kavanagh previously pleaded not guilty conspiracy to steal the cars.
Glynne, Murray and a third man, Robert Green, 41, deny conspiracy to burgle relating to the theft of a cash machine in Brentford.
Tyler Smallworth, 20, denies theft of a van while Edward Atkins, 34, is due to be arraigned at a later date.
A trial date has been set for January 4 next year with a hearing due to take place on October 15.
Glynne and Murray were remanded into custody while the other defendants were released on bail.
