UFC bantamweight Yana Kunitskaya has been forced to deny suggestions she was pregnant in her last fight after revealing she is expecting her second child.
The former women’s featherweight title challenger announced this week that she and partner Thiago Santos are expecting their first child together.
Kunitskaya posted a snap of herself with her bump to social media and was inundated with congratulatory messages from fighters and fans alike.
Some of her followers, however, claimed she must’ve been pregnant during her UFC 264 clash with Irene Aldana last month.
The Russian vehemently denied those claims on Instagram, posting a throwback photo of the early stages of her first pregnancy alongside her current bump.
Kunitskaya’s accompanying caption read: “Just to make clear !!! I didn’t fought [sic] pregnant!!!
“In the left sight I am with my first son 2 months pregnant, there is right side 2nd month pregnant.
“It’s just how my body react.

“All you who keep txting me, mind your own business.”
Kunitskaya would NOT have been able to compete if she were pregnant as the Nevada State Athletic Commission subject all female fighters to pregnancy tests as part of their pre-fight medicals.
Foxy announced her pregnancy with a photo of herself carrying a watermelon, writing: “Did I eat too much watermelon?
“We wanted to keep it as a secret a little longer but my body can’t lol I will be back in octagon 2022.”
Kunitskaya suffered a first-round TKO defeat to Aldana on the UFC 264 main card, which was headlined by Conor McGregor’s trilogy fight with Dustin Poirier.
Defeat to Aldana snapped a two-fight win streak for the former Invicta FC bantamweight champion, who is now 2-2 in her last four.
Kunitskaya was left a bloody mess by Mexico’s Aldana but posted a message to her fans after receiving medical treatment.
Alongside a snap of her swollen face, she wrote: “Sorry life goes on.”
