A “DANGEROUS” paedophile was caught after a brave schoolgirl identified him to her dad in a supermarket.
Ryan Doran, 29, performed a sex act on himself in front of the girl and another child as they played in the street, Liverpool Crown Court heard.
Beast Doran, from Wavertree, Merseyside, tried to stop the girls – aged seven and 12 – from leaving after targeting them on August 7, 2019.
But they managed to escape after he approached them from a nearby alleyway.
Judge Flewitt said: “Fortunately the girls eventually succeeded in getting past you and making their way home.”
One of the girls was able to point out Doran to her father in a supermarket after recognising him.
Callous Doran denied exposing himself, forcing the girl to pick him out of a police line-up.
Cops later found five indecent images of children aged from four to 13 on Doran’s phone, three showing a child being raped.
A judge jailed the predator for three and a half years, with an extended three years on licence.
In 2014, he had been caged for groping and stalking nine schoolgirls, the court heard.
Doran would wear a hooded top and targeted lone victims, pouncing on them if they became separated from the group.
Video of him assaulting one victim was found on his phone after he was arrested.
Doran was caged for three years after being convicted of those offences and given a Sexual Offences Prevention Order for 10 years, which barred him from trying to contact a female child.
The judge said: “Sadly for your victims in the present case neither that programme nor your experience of custody has prevented you from committing further offences.”
Doran was convicted of two counts of engaging in sexual activity in the presence of a child, breach of a SOPO, three counts of making indecent images of a child and one count of possessing indecent images of a child.
Caging him, the judge said he was a “significant risk of serious harm to female children” and had “a high risk of further offending”.
