WHETHER inspired by Gen Z Youtuber Emma Chamberlain or not, we decided it was time to review the best flared leggings on Amazon.
One scroll on TikTok will have you believing that there are high quality options available that replicate leading sportswear brands, just for a fraction of the price.
It’s safe to say that the lockdowns spurred everyone’s love for loungewear, and if you’re not ready to give it up (like us), then flared leggings can double as a chic out-of-the-house option too.
Otherwise known as yoga pants, these babies will have you wanting to live in them, whether you’re kicking back at home on the sofa or taking the dog out for a walk.
Sometimes you don’t want to fork out £50+ for some comfies, especially when you know exactly where you can find pairs that are just as amazing.
That’s where we’re swooping in to help you save money and feel great as we’ve tested out all the best flared leggings on Amazon, so you know what you’re getting.

Starting at the top, Safort’s Inseam Regular/Tall Bootcut Yoga Pants aren’t the cheapest of the bunch, but they’re by far our favourite.
Complete with two pockets, these flared leggings are high waisted in a close fit and they’re made so that you can easily tailor them to suit your height – all you have to do is cut along the provided inseam markers of 28″, 30″ or 32″.
When these arrived, we couldn’t wait to put them on because the stretch-fabric felt sooo soft. We actually own certain pairs of expensive sportswear leggings and these replicated that silky softness impressively well for half the price.
Luckily, as we’re really tall (5″11), these pants were the perfect flared length so we didn’t have to cut them, though the fabric can be cut in a straight line really easily.
We love that there are four pockets for your necessities, and as they’re built with a skin-tight feel you don’t need to size up or down (we’re a size 10-12 and opted for medium).
You can catch us living in these from now on!
Close behind Safort is IUGA’s spandex-blend Bootcut Yoga Pants, available in Grey, Dark Blue, Black and Maroon.
The brand likens the four-way stretch of these flared leggings to a “second skin”, with a bodycon silhouette and four trusty pockets for essentials.
Featuring a slightly thicker fabric than Safort, these yoga pants boast a high quality feel, made from an ultra-soft material that clings to all the right places.
They’re a good length for someone of average-to-tall height, but IUGA have added an in-seam mark as guidance in case you want to take them up yourself.
The thick waistband makes you feel supported and comfortable – these are trousers you can imagine living in, from the softness to the flexibility of the stretch.
Top marks on quality.
For some less fitted but equally comfy flared leggings, you might want to opt for OURCAN’s Womens Yoga Pants, priced just under £21.
Sporting a breathable, wide leg, these four-way stretch trousers have a drawstring waist and flat lock seams that are reportedly good for minimising chafing.
When we opened these, we instantly fell in love with the fabric. It’s that slinky, softer-than-soft material that drops down in a waterfall effect at your ankles.
They’re not exactly cut out for our tall women out there if they’re looking for full-length, however we really like them as ankle-grazing loungewear.
In terms of the fit, they come up quite oversized as we ordered a size medium and it felt like a 14-16 which is bigger than we expected, although nothing the trusty drawstring can’t help.
We’ll be keeping these for the days we want to lounge around at home feeling chic and cosy.
BALEAF on Amazon have some bootcut flared leggings that look very similar to the luxury versions that are way more expensive.
From the seamless pockets, to the quick dry material, this is the kind of sportswear we expect that we would wear to brunch with an oversized flannel shirt.
These come up particularly short (for tall women anyway), so they’re perfect if you’re more petite or don’t want a pair that skim the floor.
They’re made really well, from the sleek softness to the flexible stretch and extremely flattering shape – you can tell these strive for “tummy control”.
Sizing-wise, stick true to your size. As we said, we’re a size 10-12 and medium was perfect, just more like 3/4 lengths in our case.
These are undoubtedly winners in terms of quality, it’s just a shame (for us) that they weren’t longer.
Not got much cash to splash? Hollywood Star Fashion on Amazon have a basic pair of flared leggings for less than £18.
We chose the pair with a fuchsia pink waistband, but you can also go for yellow, red or white if any of those take your fancy.
Made from cotton-stretch, this pair is less figure-hugging, although the waistband does rise up particularly high (almost high enough to pass as maternity-wear).
They’re a generous length and the colour pop is vibrant as ever, but we just weren’t that into the cheap cotton-blend quality. However, for the price, you can’t really complain.
The slight flare isn’t too baggy either, so they won’t annoyingly float around when you go into downward-facing dog on your yoga mat.
As a no-nonsense pair of subtle flared leggings for low-impact workouts at home, these are your match.
