ASDA has launched a massive sale on toys and shoppers can save up to 30%.
The supermarket has slashed the price of over 70 toys and play sets from brands including Little Tikes, Lego and the Funkoverse.
The summer holidays are officially in full swing, so many parents will be looking for a way to keep the kids entertained until term restarts.
Asda’s toy sale will be able to help you stock up the toy trunk even if you’re on a budget as prices are slashed by almost a third.
You can shop the whole sale online and select items will be available in-store at your local Asda too.
If you’re shopping the sale online though, you’ll have to factor in the £2.95 it’ll cost on top because of delivery fees.
JUST because something is on offer, or is part of a sale, it doesn't mean it's always a good deal.
There are plenty of comparison websites out there that’ll check prices for you – so don’t be left paying more than you have to.
Most of them work by comparing the prices across hundreds of retailers.
Here are some that we recommend:
Alternatively you can use the supermarket’s free click and collect option – Asda’s store locator tool will help you find your closest one when it comes to picking your order up.
It’s worth shopping around too, as you might find the same items cheaper somewhere else.
You should also be aware that you won’t really make a saving unless you were planning on making a purchase anyway, and you shouldn’t buy just because the sale has started.
Here are the top picks from Asda’s toy sale, but you’ll want to be quick as stock will be subject to availability and the slashed prices may mean they’ll sell out quickly.
This toy is one of the cheapest in Asda’s current sale.
It features a Ryan figure, bouncy ball, stickers and mystery putty.
The Mini Mystery Egg unboxes in four pieces so your kids will enjoy taking it apart and putting it back together time and time again.
You’ll want to keep in mind that the colours and styles can vary so if you’re ordering online it might not be the exact same as the image when it arrives at your door.
Argos is selling the same toy for £11, making it 50p more expensive than Asda’s but it’s also been reduced down from £15.
The wooden train set that Asda is selling is finished in bright colours designed to spark creativity and help develop hand-eye coordination for little ones.
It’s compatible with major wooden train systems, as the trains and wagons are magnetic to make it easy to connect them to each other.
The set includes trains, tracks, a bridge, trees and other accessories like mini track signage and buildings.
Save another pound though, with Wilko’s wooden train set that’s only £10.
It’s also a magnetic train set and contains 28 different wooden pieces.
If you’ve got a little budding chef in the house who wants to try out all their skills this summer holiday, then this Little Tikes kitchen play set could be perfect for you.
This kitchen is designed to be low for young toddlers but you can raise the height for older chefs too.
A phone holder is included so you can film their fun and share onto social media when you make the most of the 38 accessories that are included.
There’s also parent/child recipe cards included so you can make the real thing outside of the make-believe play set too.
The set is only £80 from Freemans as well so you won’t find you make a saving but delivery is free so you don’t need to worry about extra charges.
Lego sets don’t often come cheap but Asda has slashed the price of this Police set, knocking off nearly £30 from the full price.
The set includes a police station with a light-brick searchlight and a police car with sound-brick siren, plus a truck, motorcycle and surveillance drone.
There’s also a lever-activated jailbreak explosion function to blow bars away, and seven minifigures and two dog figures for multiple role-playing scenarios.
Argos has the same set featured in its clearance sale for only £45 if you’d rather save a further £18 on the price.
Your little one can explore their fashion creativity with these dolls that have been reduced in the Asda sale too.
The dolls come with their own change of outfits and accessories with each version dressed in glamorous evening gowns showcasing their character’s stylish personalities.
The fashion dolls stand at 10.5-inches tall and the box they come in even unfolds to reveal a prom-themed backdrop and dance floor.
There are also supposed to be eight other surprises found inside too.
There’s a whole collection of dolls you can get too including Noah, Willow, Harmony, Kali, Bella, and Dee Dee.
But you can buy the same doll for only £13 from Rideontoys4you which means you could save an extra £5.50.
Funko has a new light strategy game that combines your favourite characters in head-to-head scenarios.
This one that’s featured in Asda’s sale includes characters from Harry Potter but there are other licensed favourites that have been reduced in price too.
You get two mini Funk Pop characters included in the game set and this one features Draco Malfoy and Ron Weasley.
You can play with them on their own or mix with other Harry Potter Funkoverse games, or even branch out to the other blockbuster favourites that you can find too.
You can buy the Back to the Future version of the game for only £10 from Amazon which is almost £8 cheaper than the same version that Asda is selling.
Aldi also has a massive summer sale on right now with up to 50% off electronics and toys.
