EASTENDERS fans called out a major plot hole with Nancy Carter’s Thailand travel plans – but did you spot it?
The barmaid – played by Maddy Hill in the BBC soap – is not herself after Zack Hudson (James Farrar) broke up with her last week.
Nancy’s dad Mick Carter (Danny Dyer) told the personal trainer to stay away from his daughter after finding out he was partially responsible for running her over.
However Mick’s plan has totally backfired and she wants to leave Walford to help move on from her heartbreak.
Nancy has been acting out ever since and tonight she told Mick, Frankie Lewis (Rose Ayling-Ellis) and mum Linda (Kellie Bright) that she was off on a girls holiday with some girls she had just met.
The trio were in the pub worrying about where Nancy could be when she walked through the doors with some sunglasses on, sipping on a can.
Nancy told them: “Well yeah you ain’t going to have to worry about that for a while because I ain’t going to be around.
“I’m going away for a few weeks…”
Apparently there’s enough men out there that you don’t have to share… so that’s good isn’t it?

Frankie replied: “So you’re actually going to Thailand?!”
“Well Magaluf first, I met these girls and they’ve got this last minute rental villa thing, oh and apparently there’s enough men out there that you don’t have to share… So that’s good isn’t it?
“I’ve got an early flight from City tomorrow morning so I better go and pack.”
But fans of the hit show were let scratching their head over how Nancy could travel over to the Southeast Asian country considering the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
Upon your arrival in Thailand UK residents have to complete a two week quarantine at a State Quarantine or Alternative State Quarantine (ASQ) facility.
Thailand and Spain are both currently on the UK’s amber list, meaning that anyone travelling back to the UK after visiting will have to take a negative Covid test upon their return, followed by two PCR tests and ten days of isolation.
Fans have often pointed how people are able to travel on the soap, but no necessarily in real life, with one writing: “Why doesn’t covid exist in #EastEnders?”
Others wondered where she got the cash asking: “Does anyone know where Nancy is getting all of this money from so that she go swanning off to Thailand?
“Lol. I can’t imagine Sharon is paying her that much at the gym.”
