ALDI is selling a new hanging egg chair – but this time it’s for cats.
The feline version is part of Aldi’s new Specialbuy pet range, and it follows the sell-out human one.
The new cat egg chair is due to be released on Sunday so you’ll be able to pre-order it on the Aldi website this weekend.
It will be £34.99 to buy, but you’ll only be able to get it online, and pet lovers will want to be quick as it’s very likely to sell out fast – especially as the original hanging egg chair from Aldi has sold out within minutes before.
The chair is made from natural hand woven wicker and it is supported by a strong metal frame, plus there’s a removable inner cushion included too.
You can buy a woven wicker egg bed for cats from Wayfair for £60, so Aldi’s new release will be £25 cheaper, plus Aldi’s has the hanging element.
Aldi’s chair is part of an Eco Pet range that the store is releasing for pre-order on Sunday, which will also be available in stores from May 30.
Another new release in the range is the cat igloo for £24.99, this one will only be available to buy online too, and it’s ultimately the transportable version of the egg chair.
The igloo is also made from natural wicker with a secure wire door and a woven handle, and includes a removable cushion as well.
It’s not just cats covered in the new pet range as Aldi is also releasing new recycled pet beds that start from £12.99, plus dog toys made from recycled materials starting from £3.49.
Products in the range are available to pre-order online from May 23 and in stores from May 30.
Aldi is also launching a recycled dog coat for £4.99 in a choice of grey or blue, and in five different sizes, as well as a £3.99 recycled dog harness made from PPE plastic bottles or a strappy harness made from bamboo.
Plus Aldi is introducing bamboo pet bowls for £3.99, and they are designed with two bowls in one.
If you’re pre-ordering from the new range then you’ll have to bear in mind the extra cost of delivery that starts from £2.95.
If you want to save on the extra charge though, you’ll have to wait another six days until the stock reaches stores, but Aldi’s locator tool will help you find your closest to go check out the range when it arrives.
Over three million households in the UK have acquired a new pet since March last year so as Aldi’s new environmentally friendly range is designed especially for the animal kind, it’s set to go down very well.
Thousands of Aldi shoppers queued to get on its website to buy the garden range that included a sell-out BBQ after the latest Specialbuy drop, so you’ll have to be quick if you don’t want to miss out on this next one.
In line with other new releases Aldi has revealed new McDonald’s inspired snacks that are 47% cheaper than the fast food chain.
The store is also selling a Little Moons mochi ice cream dupe for only £3.
