DEBENHAMS has revealed when a further 25 of its stores will be closing down for good.
The retailer has also promised shoppers a huge sale by slashing prices by up to 80% in the branches that are closing down next week.
The department store reopened 97 of its stores on April 12 as lockdown restrictions were eased.
But the struggling retailer has only welcomed back customers in a bid to shift stock before closing branches permanently.
The latest round of closures will happen on May 8 and includes branches in Derby, Crawley and Torquay.
Twenty-seven Debenhams stores will be closing earlier, 16 of which will be shutting down on May 2, including branches in Carmarthen, Newbury and Taunton.
DEBENHAMS has confirmed when 27 of its stores will be closing for good.
Closing dates for the remaining branches are yet to be confirmed, but all shops will be shut down permanently by May 15.

The second wave of closures will see stores in Bedford, Hastings and Nottingham stop trading on May 4.
The exact closing date for the remaining 45 stores is yet to be decided as it depends on stock clearance, but Debenhams told The Sun all of them will be closed by May 15.
Earlier this year, the 243-year-old retailer confirmed it will not be reopening its 15 stores in Scotland following the coronavirus lockdown.
Prices have already been slashed in store and online by up to 70% but the retailer will reduce them further in stores that will be shutting down in early May.
Shoppers will be able to bag bargains of up to 80% off in fashion and home departments, while the price of beauty and fragrances will be cut by up to 70%.
A spokesperson for Debenhams said: “Our stock is flying off the shelves and it’s no surprise with such great bargains available.
“Time is running out for shoppers to take advantage of the incredible discounts being offered at these 25 stores.”
The high street chain was bought by Boohoo in January this year in a £55million deal that only included the retailer’s name and website.
The 118 physical Debenhams stores, and their 12,000 employees, were not part of the deal putting thousands of jobs at risk.
All stores were forced to temporarily close when the UK was plunged into a third lockdown in January.
Twenty-one branches never reopened after lockdown restrictions were relaxed.
Stores that are open for clearance sales have Covid-secure measures in place to keep staff and customers safe while they shop.
This includes social distancing measures and extra hand sanitiser stations to help stop the spread of the coronavirus.
