WHITBREAD plans to reopen 64 restaurants on April 12, including Beefeater and Brewers Fayre.
To mark the reopening, all of Whitbread’s restaurants will be offering a 25% discount on food to hungry diners.

Whitbread plans to reopen 64 restaurants on April 12, including Beefeater and Brewers Fayre[/caption]The discount will be available to Blue Light Card and Defence Privilege Card holders, as well as customers who sign up to the restaurant newsletters.
The Blue Light Card is a discount scheme for public sector workers, while the latter is available to Armed Forces veterans.
Other diners can register for the newsletters online to get an email discount, which you then need to show to a staff member when you arrive.
Whitbread is yet to confirm how long the discount will be available for, and we’ll update this article once we hear back.

The links will also let you sign up to the restaurant newsletters, which will give you 25% when they reopen.
Whitbread has 435 restaurants across the UK, including Beefeater, Brewers Fayre, Table Table, Whitbread Inns, Cookhouse + Pub and Bar + Block.
The restaurants and pubs reopening in mid-April will welcome back customers for outdoor dining and drinking only.

Meanwhile, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland are following different plans to ease restrictions, which means reopening plans vary there.
Subject to Scottish government guidelines, all 38 Whitbread sites will reopen for outdoor dining, and possibly indoor dining too, from April 26.
Whitbread is yet to reveal the reopening plans of its sites in Wales and Northern Ireland, which depend on government guidelines.
Pubs and restaurants reopening in England in April must offer table service under the government’s Covid-secure guidelines.
Customers can also expect to be asked to handover contact details for the test and trace system, and to wear face masks when not at their table.
Like before, pubs will be providing hand sanitiser for customers to use while having a drink.
