CHELTENHAM FESTIVAL punters have been celebrating some massive winners as outlandish bets landed against the odds.
None was better than Paul Dean’s amazing £250,000 payout from a fiver.
The genius bettor won quarter of a million despite the horse he backed in the final leg of his five-fold falling.

Dean, 40, from Stockton-on-Tees, cashed in after the first four selections won.
And he was left breathing a big sigh of relief as his decision proved wise when red-hot favourite Envoi Allen crashed out.
Dean won so much because he backed the horses at much bigger odds than they eventually ran at.
Another punter who won big by using the same technique posted their slip to Twitter.
He backed Chantry House, Bob Olinger and Sir Gerhard all to win at Cheltenham.
Bob Olinger was the first to come in at 6-4 after being backed at 25-1.
Sir Gerhard did the same in the Champion Bumper on Wednesday, winning at just over 2-1 after being backed at 25-1.
Funnily enough, it was Chantry House, the horse backed at the shortest odds who won at the shortest odds, that landed the £99,194 payout.
The punter – who posted the slip before the final race – backed JP McManus’ horse at 20-1 in the Marsh Novices’ Chase on Thursday.
Nico De Boinville steered the horse to victory at 9-1 to complete the clean sweep.
All in all it landed a whopping payout from a £5.18 each way bet.
Another shrewd bettor scooped just shy of £16,000 from £31 after picking five winners in a Lucky 31.
And Chris Bailey, a plumber from Newmarket, celebrated a £28,000 win too.
He saw Sir Gerhard, Monkfish and Shishkin all win to scoop the five-figure payout from just £15.
