THE final film in the All The Boys trilogy is dropping on Netflix in time for Valentine’s Day 2020.
Whether you’re celebrating the single life or with a loved one, the third installment of the teen rom-com called Always And Forever will make the perfect corny viewing.
To All The Boys: Always and Forever is new to Netflix[/caption]The hotly anticipated third installment to the ‘To All The Boys’ franchise is dropping on Netflix TODAY (February 12) 00.01am ET and 8am in the UK, which makes it perfect for Valentines Day watching.
Luckily for fans, the second and third movies were filmed back to back, meaning that the movie’s scheduling has been unaffected by the Covid-19 pandemic.
Always and Forever is actually being released almost exactly a year after the sequel came out.
The crew travelled to South Korea to film some of the movie[/caption]As with the first two movies, the third film will be based on the novels by Jenny Han, particularly the last book named Always and Forever, Lara Jean.
Unlike the other two films, some of the action will take place further afield, as the crew travelled to South Korea to film some of the movie.
Netflix’s synopsis reads: “As Lara Jean Covey prepares for the end of high school and the start of adulthood, a pair of life-changing trips lead her to reimagine what life with her family, friends, and Peter will look like after graduation.
“Senior year of high school takes center stage as Lara Jean returns from a family trip to Korea and considers her college plans — with and without Peter.”
Lana is in her senior year of high school in the upcoming movie[/caption]Director Michael Fimognari says that Peter will have a steep learning curve in the next movie. He said: “There’s a growth to the character and the way that Noah explores that and the way that he involves his other cast members.”
Lana Condor, who plays lead Lara Jean Covey in the new rom-com spoke about filming the new installment in Korea.
She said: “For the final installment, filming in Korea was a huge moment to see how big our ‘To All the Boys’ world got. It was one of the highlights of my career.
“Working with the Korean crew and seeing how the set was made both differently and similarly to around the world was a fantastic experience.
“A specific memory that’s in my mind is a scene at the open market. I ate noodle soup and dumplings for eight hours straight.”
To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before was the original 2018 movie which marked the start of the franchise.
It was then followed by To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You, which was released in February 2020.
The first film was based on the 2014 novel of the same name by Jenny Han and it covered the first book and ended midway through the plot of the second novel P.S. I Still Love You.
