GOOD Morning Britain weather woman Laura Tobin was left embarrassed this morning after viewers spotted an awkward wardrobe malfunction live on air.
While explaining that the UK is expected to have some frosty conditions in the coming days, the 39-year-old turned away to give us further details of the weather map.
Looking festive in a Christmas jumper, the wardrobe mishap stole the show while Laura, none the wiser, shared Met Office details that snow could be nonexistent by the year 2100.
Viewers immediately noticed that the weather expert had seemingly forgotten to remove the price tag from the top – which had ‘Twinkle’ written in sequins across the front.
“@GMB please tell the weather lady Laura she has a sale ticket hanging from the back of her ‘twinkle’ jumper,” one fan immediately wrote on Twitter.
Another weighed in: “Laura, I like the new jumper but I think you’ve forgotten the label on the back.”
A third added: “It’s so foggy out there Laura couldn’t see her price tag label on her Xmas jumper.”
“Are you planning on returning that jumper?” joked one man.
Such a large number of fans alerted Good Morning Britain to the rogue label that Laura was forced to explain the mishap live in a later weather segment.
“Before we got on with the weather, just to address a fashion faux pas,” she told viewers.
“Now, I can show you it’s gone now. I think it’s a borrowed one. I’m meant to be sending it back, that’s why the label is still in there.
“So that’s all sorted – all my Twitter feed is full of that, not the other stuff we’re talking about this morning.”
Laura lifted her hair up to show the back of her neck, proving the viewers the label was gone while hosts Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid chuckled.
Good Morning Britain continues tomorrow at 6am on ITV.
