A MAN has been arrested after smashing a car into a police station in North London, resulting in a mass evacuation.
Edmonton police and train stations remain cordoned off, after a man also set alight flammable liquid on a road in front of horrified onlookers.

Clips shared online shows a man leaving the car and pouring a substance onto the road from a container, as onlookers watch on in horror.
Standing in front of a double-decker bus, he then sets the liquid on fire.
Witnesses can be heard shouting as a police car pulls up and officers run out to tackle the man at a bus stop metres away.
The man is then tackled to the floor and officers are heard to shout “get back” before dousing the flames in the road using a fire extinguisher.
The Met Police have confirmed that at about 7pm on Wednesday, “a vehicle collided with the station office at Edmonton Police Station.
“A man – no further details – has been detained in connection with the incident.
“The vehicle remains at the scene. Specialist officers are in attendance while it is examined.
“At this stage we have not been informed of any injuries.
“London Ambulance Service and London Fire Brigade are present.”
The police station has been evacuated and a large police cordon is in place.
Labour Councillor for Edmonton Green Ward, Ergin Erbil, tweeted that there are “reports of a major incident declared at Edmonton Green police station.
“If you’re in the Fore Street area stay safe and be careful.”
Peter Allimadi, 30, from Edmonton, who works in Whitehall, told the Press Association news agency he heard “shouting, a loud crash and sirens from everywhere”.
He said: “I came out of the Lidl to see what the commotion was about, police screaming instructions to citizens to back away, some scared shoppers, commuters and parents running from the scene.”

“Citizens [are] advised to avoid the area.
“So far [it’s] unclear if this is a crime, an accident or a terrorist incident. Also unclear if there are any casualties.”
The vehicle remains at the scene and is being examined by specialist officers, the Met said.
