SURANNE Jones promised viewers lots of “action and thrills” as she shared a behind-the-scenes picture from the Vigil set.
The Doctor Foster star was all smiles as she sat with her lookalike stunt double and praised the work of the new thriller’s “brilliant crew”.

The Gentleman Jack favourite plays the role of DCI Amy Silver, who takes control of an investigation into a death onboard a Trident nuclear submarine.
Sharing a snap to her social media page, Suranne could be seen sitting next to her stunt double wearing identical yellow hoodies and green combat trousers.
Paying tribute to those working behind-the-scenes, she captioned the snap: “Stunt teams and brilliant crews are the ones holding our hands and make what gets on screen look pretty awesome…

The new crime drama was written by BAFTA-nominated Tom Edge, who also worked on The Crown.
The star-studded cast includes Suranne’s former Doctor Foster co-stars Adam James and The Bodyguard’s Anjli Mohindra, as well as Line of Duty’s Martin Compston.
Endeavour’s Shaun Evans takes on the role of Chief Petty Officer Elliot Glover in the three-part series based in Scotland.
The Game of Thrones trio of Rose Leslie, Stephen Dillane and Daniel Portman will also be part of the show.
Ahead of filming, Jones was full of praise for Tom’s newest creation, which she says is set in a ‘world she knew nothing about’.
