ROCHELLE Humes broke down in tears as she dropped her “brave” daughter Alaia off at her new school for the first time earlier today.
The telly presenter, 31, took to Instagram to share a glossy-eyed photo of herself just moments after she waved her seven-year-old off into the classroom.
Taking time to reflect on all the change that has happened for her family over the past year, emotions ran high as soon as she got back into the car to drive home.
She wrote: “A lot of change for us at the minute as a family – new house, new area but, the most change for my Alaia starting a brand new school after lockdown.
“I’m so proud of how brave she is and so ready for a new adventure, so odd for me not being able to go in and make sure she’s okay but I guess that’s the new ‘normal’ for you.
“I held it together and as soon as the door shut I lost it.
“Being a parent is never easy…please tell me it’s not just me?’ She’s totally fine by the way and SO excited 
,” she captioned the post.
Despite her hormones being all over the place, the mum-to-be thinks that the reason she feels even more sensitive that usual is because her other half Marvin, 35, is currently away from home.
While Rochelle dropped her eldest off at school, her best pal and hair stylist Maurice kept her youngest occupied by making their own music.
Three-year-old Valentina has definitely given both her pop star parents a run for their money as she danced around the kitchen to Normani’s hit Motivation in a spider man dress.
She added: “I think I got more upset because Marv is away too…swipe to see what I came home to, my bestie @mauriceflynn and Valle making music videos…I’m good now 
”
Lots of famous faces flocked to the comment section to give The Saturdays singer some love.

Love Island star and younger sister Sophie Piper also commented with three love heart emojis.
And it wasn’t just her famous pals that commented, loads of fans also reassured her that how she was feeling is completely normal.
One wrote: “It’s not just you mine are 29 and 26 and I still do it! ”
Another said: “Your definitely not alone. My little boy went back on Wednesday same school and everything but I had to hold back my tears 
”

Rochelle has plenty more emotional departures at the school gates to look forward to in the future.
Back in April the presenter announced the happy news that she and Marvin are expecting their third child.
To share the exciting news, Rochelle posted a shot of their ultrasound scan alongside a pair of knitted boots and a board that read: “We’re eggspecting. Baby Humes. October 2020.”
She wrote alongside it: “There’s a baby bunny in my oven…
.”
Marvin posted the same picture, writing “And there’s another Bunny in the oven! Baby Humes due Oct 2020 our hearts are so full we are truly blessed 
.”
The pair welcomed their first child, Alaia, into the world in 2013.
Four years later Valentina was born and it looks like the awesome foursome won’t have to wait much longer until their fifth family member arrives.
