Not much is known of Lee’s family life as he is seen to keep it out of the spotlight.
However, the comedian has admitted that his sitcom Not Going Out is loosely based on his own family life.
Talking to Radio Times in 2017, Lee said: “The truth is I just wanted to write a sitcom about what I am in real life, which is a husband and dad of three kids.
“It allows me to tap into stories that have an element of truth. It also means that when stuff happens to me in real life, I don’t get angry about it, I just write it down and use it.”
Lee is a successful comedian[/caption]In March 2020, Lee revealed that he and Tara were self isolating after he had coronavirus symptoms – not her.
He never confirmed if he actually had the deadly bug, but a statement said: “Lee has not been tested for this virus but has been feeling unwell for 10 days now and he and his family have been completely self-isolating.
“He said the worst symptom so far is the avalanche of jokes about him Not Going Out.
“He laughed on day one but now it’s day 10 it’s becoming a struggle.”
The match will take place THIS SUNDAY (September 6, 2020) at Old Trafford.
There will be no fans in attendance because of the global coronavirus pandemic.
Soccer Aid will be live on ITV from 6.30pm.
