TESCO is giving its Clubcard holders double points this weekend when they buy their groceries in store.
From today until Monday, August 24, you can cash in on Tesco’s Clubcard offer, which can help you save more money in the future.
Just scan your Clubcard app in-store to scoop up double points after you do a food shop.
You can download the Clubcard App for free on all smartphones.
They’ll show in your app within five to seven days and Tesco said they won’t show on your receipt.
But it doesn’t apply if you scan your physical Clubcard, key fob or your Clubcard in Apple Wallet, Android Pay, Tesco Pay+ or any other loyalty card app.
It also can’t be used if you’re buying fuel, tobacco products, stamps, saving stamps, Tesco Café, lottery products, prescription medicines, infant formula milk, gift cards, travel money, and E top-ups.
MOST UK supermarkets have loyalty schemes so customers can build up points and save money while they shop.
Here we round up what saving programmes you’ll find at the big brands.
Tesco Clubcard users have been sent an email about the offer, so check your email from the supermarket for the full terms and conditions.
As part of Tesco’s Clubcard scheme, users can take their points and either use them for money off their shop or turn them into vouchers.
Points are traded for vouchers worth three times their value. So say you earn £5 in Clubcard points, this would be worth £15 in reward vouchers.
Clubcard members collect one point for every £1 spent in-store and one point for every £2 spent on fuel.
We recently told you how you can use your Tesco Clubcard vouchers alongside the Eat Out to Help Out scheme to save you even more money.
Meanwhile, Tesco is offering free delivery to Clubcard Plus members to rival Amazon Fresh.
We spoke to a professional bargain hunter who saves hundreds of pounds using scanners in Asda, B&M and Tesco.
