DEAR DEIDRE: LESS than a year ago my wife and I celebrated our wedding with 100 guests – and she’s left me already.
Everything was great right until the wedding but within weeks she started saying things like “the relationship has run its course,” and “we have nothing to look forward to”.
NINTCHDBPICT000596725717[/caption]She is 26 and I am 28. I couldn’t believe it. Our marriage never had a chance to get going.
She started going out drinking with friends and moved out of our flat in January. She is a completely different person to the woman I married. She is not even speaking to me any more.
How can someone’s feelings change so dramatically so quickly?
My team and I are working safely from home but we are here to help you as always.

DEIDRE SAYS: I am afraid it sounds as though she was more in love with being at the centre of a big wedding than with the realities of married life.
See bacp.co.uk and talk to a counsellor to check you didn’t make basic errors like taking her for granted once she was your wife. But if she is that shallow, be glad you have had a lucky escape.
