PIERS Morgan posts a scathing tweet about ‘nice’ TV stars saying that they are usually “diabolical” in real life.
The Good Morning Britain star have never been shy to voice his opinions and he was at it again on social media.
The popular Ellen DeGeneres show is currently under investigation following allegations of racism and workplace intimidation.
Distributor WarnerMedia has launched a probe following accusations from current and former staffers on the show — which is shown weekdays on ITV2 — of bullying and racism on the “toxic” set.
Rumours of Ellen’s years of demanding ways culminated with ex-staff members swapping stories on Twitter, eventually pushing the company to investigate.
Piers, 55, gave his thoughts on the matter and tweeted this afternoon: “Rule one of TV: the ‘nicer’ stars seem on camera, & the more they bang on about ‘being kind’, the more diabolical they tend to be in real life…”
Piers Morgan is not one to hold back how is feeling[/caption] Piers has working on Good Morning Britain since 2015[/caption]Piers has never been hard to hold much back, even with celebrities.
Last year, he accused Little Mix of using nudity to sell records, which landed him in trouble with 22-year-old singer Ariana Grande.
The journalist also accused Lady Gaga of only disclosing her struggle with post-traumatic stress disorder for her own personal benefit – which caused outrage on Twitter.
Author JK Rowling also found herself in the midst of a feud with Piers – in a Twitter argument which led Morgan to say: “This is why I’ve never read a single word of Harry Potter.”
Piers works with the likes of Susanna Reid on Good Morning Britain[/caption] Piers believes TV stars who are nice on-screen tend to be ‘diabolical in real life’[/caption]One of Piers’ long-standing and most public feuds is with billionaire businessman Lord Alan Sugar – and the two men frequently attack each other on Twitter.
Back in 2016, the journalist attacked celebrity Kim Kardashian West for sharing a nude photo, asking if she needed him to buy her some clothes.
Other celebrities that aren’t Piers’ Morgan’s good books include Chrissy Teigen who he told to “get a proper job” and CNN’s Anderson Cooper who he claimed didn’t have as much “pull” as CNN anchor after he left the news channel in 2014.
JK Rowling felt Piers’ wrath as he responded to her tweet about him being told to f**k off as “satisfying”, when he said he’s never read one of her Harry Potter books.
Piers works with fellow Good Morning Britain presenters such as Susanna Reid, Kate Garraway, Lorraine Kelly and Ben Shepherd, but the former Britain’s Got Talent judge did not mention anyone he shares the studio with his latest scathing tweet.
