OLIVIA Buckland threw husband Alex Bowen an epic 29th birthday party in their huge garden at home for all their friends to enjoy.
Olivia, 26, organised a festival-themed bash that she aptly named Alex Fest and invited their nearest and dearest to celebrate with them.
The proud wife had thought of every little detail for her beau, setting up a giant tipi tent for guests to relax in the shade, a number of garden games including giant Jenga, and she even ordered an inflatable darts board.
Olivia had two specially branded signs made with Alex Fest written in big gold letters and dozens of balloons.
She hauled in stacks of hay for seating and set up a DJ area with different guests having a spin throughout the day.
The Love Island star shared videos and photos of her incredible efforts on Instagram and lucky man Alex looked in his element, celebrating with his loved-ones in Essex.
Crowned Brits favourite Love Island couple, the pair share a joint TikTok account which has over 509,000 followers and over 4.5 million between them on Instagram.
And their relationship has gone from strength to strength since they first locked eyes at each other during the second series of Love Island in 2016.
The former Love Island pair moved into their second property together back in February – and a lot has changed since they first walked through the doors.
Since moving in the pair have kept their fans up to date with the progress on their dedicated home interior account which boasts 540k followers on Instagram.
Shortly after settling in the love birds they wanted to swap the living and kitchen areas around and their cooking area is nearly finished.
The large open space boasts light grey cupboards, white marble work tops and a huge sliding door that opens out onto their spacious garden.
Just six months ago the reality star, 26, shared a snap of herself alongside husband Alex, 28, outside their first pad to announce the happy news that they were finally moving into their dream home.
She wrote: “22nd October 2019 we sold our first home. 6th October 2017 I remember so well; we bought this house. God we were so excited. It holds so many memories, so many firsts, we got married whilst we lived here, it was our first home & I‘m gonna miss it so so much.
“Tomorrow, we move into our dream home. Honestly this home is everything I’ve ever dreamt of, it has so much potential. It’s kinda unbelievable that we’re now here experiencing it.
“Neither of us ever thought this would be happening. We both feel so overwhelmed, I honestly can’t even write this correctly, I don’t think I can ever feel grateful enough for this life & for what we experience.”
The blonde continued: “Feels so surreal. It’s gonna be the start of a brand new journey it comes with stress & worry, a pretty scary to be honest, we’ve taken a lot on… but we always do.. ‘we don’t do things by halves’ is our fave way to describe ourselves. Let’s live for now.
Olivia celebrated their happy news with a lengthy Instagram post about their journey to being able to create their dream home[/caption]“I wanna say thank you for being so invested in & supportive of our lives, it’s pretty amazing, you’re all pretty amazing. I hope you guys enjoy me sharing this kinda thing, it feels weird cus it’s so personal & it’s not been without its difficulties, but I know you all love a home tour haha! So, here we go… the next instalment of our lives is about to begin, bring on the reno!”
The kitchen isn’t the only thing that’s changed since they’ve moved in.
The grand staircase and hallway has been transformed from having traditional looking dark wood banisters and blue carpet into a chic grey and white haven.
Back in February Olivia revealed that she had her mind set on changing what it looked like from the get go.
She explained: “I think this hallway is why we fell in love with the house so much. Always dreamt of a grand hallway & this really could be even more beautiful & were excited to put our stamp on it!”
The house is also complete with a massive garden, which is the ideal space for French bulldogs Reggie and Winnie to play.
Alex and Olivia have a balcony to look out onto their acres of land and they even have a pond in their back yard too.
Other rooms include a lavish bedroom with a plush brown bed, a dressing room which is the perfect back drop for their Instagram posts and they even have a shower room for their pooches.
The garden has a huge pond in the centre which is surrounded by a selection of hedges and other greenery[/caption] The couple moved into their first home together in 2017[/caption]Just five months after leaving the villa Alex proposed to Olivia during a romantic holiday in New York.
They became the first couple from the ITV2 dating show to wed as they tied the knot in Gosfield Hall, Essex, in September 2018.
But despite currently creating their forever home, they won’t be sharing their pad with children any time soon after Olivia ruled out having kids in 2020 due to work commitments.
