THIS Morning fans were left in hysterics this morning as an ‘expert’ schooled them – in how to use a toilet.
Hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby couldn’t hide their amusement as they were joined live from a public loo in Devon by hygiene guru Lisa Ackerley.
Many viewers were stunned when she imparted such crucial advice as “check the toilet is empty” before entering.
Other advice included “wash your hands after” and “lift the seat” if you’re a girl who’s going to “hover” above it.
The comedy began with 58-year-old Phillip‘s questions being interrupted with the sound of Lisa blasting the taps, with the host remarking: “That’s put me right off.”
To the sound of sniggering, 39-year-old Holly asked: “Is it safe to touch the loo seat – is it OK to sit on the toilet seat or should you hover?”
Lisa advised: “The most important thing to remember is do whatever you feel comfortable with. If you’re a hoverer lift the seat up so that you’re not making it wet for the next person.
“When you’re finish put the lid down because you’re going to wash your hands next.”
One boggled: “Sat watching a demo on how to safely use a public toilet… “is it okay to sit on the toilet seat?”
Another giggled: “How to use the toilet. Come on guys we all know how to sit on the toilet.”
Lisa was coming live from the toilets of the Connaught Gardens in Sidmouth, Devon – dubbed the “loo with a view” thanks to the sweeping seafront in front.
