FORMER Hollyoaks star Davinia Taylor has flaunted her amazing weight loss and revealed she’s dropped from a size 16 to a size 8 thanks to “biohacking”.
The 42-year-old mum of four, who played Jude Cunningham in the Channel 4 soap, posted a before and after pic of herself on Instagram today.
The first picture shows a heavier Davinia wearing leggings, a long t-shirt and casual jacket with her blonde hair tied back.
In the second photos, she is proudly flaunting her toned physique in a barely-there bikini.
She’s smiling in the second photos as she walks through the beach water.
The lengthy caption on the Instagram post described how she managed to not only lose the weight but also to keep it off.
Davinia wrote: “What a difference a bit of #Biohacking makes !!! Detox , reduce inflammatory foods , run , sauna , supplement, wim Hof , Cold exposure, NAD+ , nootropics , kombucha, Intermittent fasting, gut health , knowing my genes all these protocols have helped me stay mentally healthy and if I do that the body follows suit !!!
“Think I’m pushing a size 16 there and then I’m down to an 8 (and maintained it for years !! No yo-yo or massive cravings either ) “All beings in the brain #brainhealth #goodfats #lowsugar #paleo.”
Biohacking refers to practice of changing a person’s “inner chemistry and physiology through science and self-experimentation to energise and enhance the body”, according to motivational speaker, Tony Robbins.
Davinia was a fixture on Hollyoaks in the 90s and returned again for a brief stint as Jude in 2016.
She has regularly kept her fans updated on her strict food and exercise regimen.
They loved her before and after pics and showered the actress with compliments.
One Instagram user wrote: “Incredible and you’ve had 4 kids which is hard work, so inspiring.”
While another added: “I love the way you turned your pain into purpose and share it with the world with so much passion you really walk talk with fire in your belly … 18 months of eating bloody crap.”
A third said: “You look unreal!!!”
And a fourth commented: “[sic] ur so inspirational & u make total sense!!!
