KFC fans can tuck into nine pieces of chicken for just £5.99 from the end of this month as the fast-food chain is bringing back its popular “Chicken Tuesdays” deal.
The offer starts on Tuesday June 30 and runs until Tuesday August 18 but as the name suggests it’s only available in branches on Tuesdays.
The same amount of Original Recipe chicken on the bone would usually cost £15.57 at KFC, so it’s a tasty saving of £9.58.
To get the offer, you just need to head into a restaurant as a walk-in customer and ask for the Chicken Tuesday deal to takeaway.
You can’t get the offer if you order online for collection or delivery, and be aware it is subject to availability at participating restaurants. It’s also unavailable on drive-thru orders.
KFC fans can’t eat in at present as restaurants are currently only allowed to offer takeaway services under the government’s lockdown rules, although they’re expected to be allowed to reopen from July 4.
The fast food chain puts on the popular offer several times throughout the year but this is the first time it’s done so since its restaurants reopened.
KFC initially closed all of its 900-plus branches when lockdown began back in March.
But it’s now reopened more than 700 branches for a mixture of walk-in takeaway orders, delivery via Deliveroo, Just Eat and Uber Eats, and drive-thru. Not every restaurant offers every delivery option.
KFC is also running a limited menu to help keep workers safe, so not all options are available.
Users of theHotukdeals forum are excited about the new offer though with one person writing: “Just as I was going to go on a diet this comes along. Arrrrggghh. Oh well guess I’ll put on some more weight.”
Another added: “I put my going out clothes on and everything, thinking today was gonna be chicken day!
“Then I realised it starts on June 30. Then I realised it’s not even Tuesday. Facepalms self.”

Other food chains including McDonald’s, Pizza Express, and Wagamamas have also now reopened some restaurants for delivery.
