REAL Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Williams admitted during last night’s episode that she hasn’t been intimate with fiance Dennis McKinley after they got engaged once again.
After Dennis admitted to Porsha he had cheated on her while she was pregnant with their daughter, Dennis popped the question again while the housewives were in Canada to celebrate Carnival.
Fans of the show will know Dennis and Porsha have been going to couple’s counseling after Dennis admitted to cheating on Porsha. This clearly created some trust issues that the two are working through.
But during last night’s episode, Porsha admitted that she and Dennis hadn’t had sex for at least two months – since they got engaged a second time.
The therapist brought up the subject by asking how they were doing.
Porshia then answered: “We are up and moving about the house, we are pretty much the way we were before.
“But when we go up to our room literally since he put the ring back on my finger, it’s like a mental block.
“I love him.”
She continued speaking after dabbing away her tears: “For some reason, when we get in the room and the light is turned off, I feel like it doesn’t feel right anymore.
“I love Dennis but there’s a block because of the hurt. I don’t think he gets how much I loved him wholeheartedly. So to share any of that is just really really hard to get over.
“Just for you to put your body next somebody else’s is something that’s hurtful to me.”
Dennis seemed to take it pretty calmly – too calmly – when Porsha confessed what was going through her mind when they tried to get intimate.
He answered: “I’m not the only one that’s gotta do some work. We’ve talked about me and me, me, me, me for the longest time.
“But that is also a good example of Porsha also has to do some work. I can’t read her mind.”
Porsha continued: “That’s why I’m bringing this up. I’m not bringing this up because it’s an issue you have to deal with. It’s something I now have to deal with too.
“I’m also fearful because women feel like we have to hold on to men. And that is also in my mind and I tell you exactly how I feel, you’ll be like ‘Oh hell nah, this about to be a whole year.
‘She about to not have sex with me, let me go figure something else out.’ I just don’t know how to tell you.”
Porsha then talked more to producers about her feelings: “On one hand, I have to get back comfortable to open my body back up to him. But on the other hand, an intimacy issue can cause him to do the very thing he did before, which was cheat.
“I’m having to double trust him at the same time, which is a lot.”
Dennis tried to understand what Porsha was going through and acknowledged that they do need to work their issues out.
Throughout the seasons, fans have seen Dennis and Porsha work out their issues, especially after Porsha purposedly tried to avoid him when she and Marlo Hampton visited his hot dog restaurant.
In early January, Dennis sparked cheating rumors for a second time after RadarOnline.com released a video where he could be seen eating at a diner with four women at 4 a.m.
None of the women present were Porsha, which made fans wonder why he was out with them at that time and not at home with his family.
After the news broke, The Sun noticed Porsha had deleted the pictures of her and Dennis from her Instagram. She even posted a couple of cryptic Instagram stories.
The Sun later reported that Porsha was willing to overlook his second indiscretion and would be sticking by his side.
A source talked about their relationship and said: “Porsha is making it work with Dennis.
“PJ comes first and she will do whatever she can to make sure she has two loving parents.”
However, the source insisted he has run out of chances after his latest wayward behavior.
Porsha even told Bravo boss Andy Cohen that they were working on their relationship yet again.
She told the Watch What Happens host: “I think every relationship is a work in progress. We have a daughter together. Just pray for us. You know, you pray for yourselves? Add us in there too, baby.”
The couple has a one-year-old daughter together.
