CALLING all horse racing fans: ‘The Festival Presented by Magners is the pinnacle of the horse racing calendar.

The feature race of the day is the The Queen Mother Champion Chase.
Last year saw the favourite, Altior, return and win in dramatic style so this year’s event is sure to excite.
March 12 delivers an electric atmosphere and sees the Ryanair Chase and Paddy Power Stayers’ Hurdle take centre stage.
Last year the crowd roared home Frodon in the Grade 1 Chase, under Jockey Club Racecourse Ambassador Bryony Frost as she became the first female jockey to win a Grade 1 over fences at The Cheltenham Festival.
Then in The Stayers’ Hurdle, there was a win for trainer Emma Lavelle and owner Andrew Gemmell with the price of Prestbury, Paisley Park.
Throughout the day, there’ll be three live Irish Folk bands: The Lucky 15’s, All Folked Up and Taylor & The Mason’s across all enclosures.
Over 70,000 racegoers descend on Day Four as legends are made for Gold Cup Day.
Willie Mullins got his hands on The Magners Cheltenham Gold Cup for the first time in 2019, as Al Boum Photo flew up the Cheltenham Hill under Paul Townend.
Greats such as Dawn Run and Best Mate, and modern heroes Kauto Star, Native River and Al Boum Photo are made on Day Four.
Off the track there’s live music, premium brands and hand-picked boutiques in The Shopping Village – not forgetting a selection of bars and restaurants.
