PIERS Morgan has blasted a female MP for dressing “inappropriately” in the House of Commons after her dress fell off her shoulder.
The GMB host said Tracy Brabin flashed too much “flesh” after her black dress shoulder strap fell down – leading to trolls branding her a “tart” on Twitter.
Piers defended the Batley and Spen MP’s reaction to the abuse, after she listed all their vile comments and told them to stop being “emotional over a shoulder”.
But added that if a male MP had worn a revealing outfit he would have been criticised in the same manner.
He said: “I’m not making a declaration, but was it appropriate really?
“Men wear suits – should you have a dress that’s falling off?
“Every woman wearing a dress like that knows it has the ability to fall?

“If a bloke did anything similar and showed that amount of flesh – they all where suits – I think the man would get the same amount of attention and some criticism and some praise.
“I just thought it was a little inappropriate.”
Former Corrie actress Brabin, 58, slammed the abuse yesterday after trolls said she “looks like she’s on the morning after a walk of shame”.
The mum-of-two replied to trolls: “Sorry I don’t have time to reply to all of you commenting on this but I can confirm I’m not….
“A slag, Hungover, A tart, About to breastfeed, A slapper, Drunk, Just been banged over a wheelie bin.
“Who knew people could get so emotional over a shoulder…”
Many Twitter users rushed to defend the MP.
One wrote: “If I had a quid for every time someone had commented on what I wore rather than what I said… This rarely happens to men – calling it out is the only way to educate .”
Another joked: “Go in naked next time.”
A third wrote: “Great sense of humour Tracy. Much kudos.”
In the Commons, Ms Brabin was debating Downing Street’s decision to order senior journalists to leave before a briefing on Boris Johnson’s Brexit plans.
The Labour frontbencher, who played Tricia Armstrong in the ITV soap between 1994 and 1997, won a 2016 by-election following the murder of MP Jo Cox.
