TOWIE bosses have axed THREE cast members in a massive cull ahead of the new series.
Chloe Ross, 26, and Joey Turner, 18, have been given the boot as well as 21-year-old Jayden Beales, after they failed to make an impression on the ITVBe drama.
The trio joined the cast last year in series 24 alongside Ella Wise, 19, Harry Lee, 23, and Chloe Brockett, 19, but they swerved the savage dumping.
An insider revealed: “The TOWIE cast fear this time of year as they know bosses look at who’s made an impact on the show – and who hasn’t resonated as well with fans.
“Producers made a lot of changes last year and it was a risk introducing so many new characters, some have worked and others haven’t …
“There’s talk of a few new faces joining the next series – but final decisions are yet to be made.”
According to sources, Chloe, 26, is said to have found love away from Towie and wanted to keep her relationship private, while bosses are “yet to make a decision” on Joey.
The sourced added to MailOnline: “Chloe has decided to take a step back from the show to focus on her modelling and influencing work.”
“She’s just been announced as the new ambassador for Ann Summers and is in a long-term relationship that she wants to keep off the show.”
A TOWIE spokesperson confirmed Chloe and Jayden’s departure and said: “We review our cast every series to ensure we’re keeping the show fresh and relevant’ but say final decisions are still yet to be made about Joey.”
Last year The Sun Online revealed 10 stars had been given the chop after bosses hung out in Essex hotspots to find the next generation of stars.
Popular characters including James Locke, Myles Barnett and Jon Clark were shown the door in the ITVBe show’s biggest ever cull.
Jon’s brother Chris, Kady McDermott, Dean Ralph, Jordan Wright, Yazmin Oukhellou and brother Adam were also given the boot after failing to impress producers who wanted to make room for new faces.
Chloe Lewis has mutually agreed with producers that she won’t be returning as a full time cast member.
The dramatic axing came as a shock to many who have been in the show as far back as 2015.
A Towie spokesman said last year: “Every series we review our cast to ensure we’re following the lives of those who are most interesting and willing to share their real lives and relationship highs and lows.
“It’s how TOWIE has stayed so fresh and exciting for nearly a decade.”
