A LUCKY UK ticket holder still hasn’t claimed a whopping £40million in tonight’s EuroMillions jackpot.
The massive jackpot is set to make Tuesday’s December 3 EuroMillions draw winner a multi-millionaire.
The search for the lucky winner, who matched all five main numbers and two Lucky Stars in the draw, is on.
The winning EuroMillions numbers on that date were 18, 31, 32, 38 and 48, with the Lucky Stars 4 and 12.
National Lottery players are being urged to check, double-check and triple-check their tickets so they can celebrate this win just in time for Christmas.
Camelot is waiting to hear from the ticket holder to start the process of claiming their life-changing prize.
The ticket-holder can call 0333 234 50 50 if they believe they are the lucky winner.
Once the winner calls Camelot, a validation appointment will be arranged for the prize to be paid out.
The ticket-holder will then decide whether or not to go public and share the news.
There will be no information on whether it is an individual or syndicate winner, or where the ticket was purchased, unless the ticket-holder decides to go public.
If the prize remains unclaimed, approximately two weeks after the draw, the area in which the ticket was bought will be released.
One very lucky ticket-holder is currently sitting on a whopping £40 Million and may not even know it yet
Andy Carter
The £40,957,696 sum is the seventh EuroMillions jackpot won in the UK in 2019.
According to The Sunday Times Rich List, this jackpot would propel a single ticket-holder into the same league as footballer Andy Carroll (£19M) and pop star Rita Ora (£18M) combined.
Andy Carter, Senior Winners’ Advisor at The National Lottery said, “One very lucky ticket-holder is currently sitting on a whopping £40 Million and may not even know it yet!
“Instead of battling the cold winter mornings, the lucky winner could choose to celebrate Christmas somewhere hot this year with their fantastic windfall.
“As the ticket was bought in-store, we’re urging players to check the places you usually keep your tickets and make sure you’ve checked them all in case you’re the missing winner.”
He added: “Our player services team are on standby waiting for the ticket-holder to come forward. They have great expertise in helping players embrace life-changing wins and they will be on hand every step of the way to guide the ticket-holder through the experience.
“We have the champagne on ice and our fingers crossed that the lucky winner comes forward to claim their win soon.”
This is the seventh EuroMillions jackpot win in the UK this year.
