REAL Housewives of Orange County star Kelly Dodd should be riding high after her engagement to boyfriend Rick Leventhal.
However, she revealed that her happy moment is being spoiled by her “mean” ex-husband trying to sabotage it.
The reality TV star, 44, accepted a romantic proposal from the Fox News correspondent earlier this week.
But she claimed on Thursday that her ex-husband Michael Dodd is threatening to “expose” her, according to Us Weekly.
“It’s very contentious right now. He gets upset,” Kelly told the publication.
She continued: “He knows who [Rick] is. And he’s very mean about him. He calls him Gonzo. And then he’ll send me pictures of him, he’s just mean. He’s not happy for me.”
“He wants to come after me. He says, ‘I’m going to expose you.’ I’m like, ‘OK, go head, expose me,’” she said.
“It’s already out there! Everything’s out there. There’s nothing you can say or do that I haven’t been exposed about,” she told them of her ex.
The couple divorced in 2017 after ten years of marriage.
They share 13-year-old daughter Jolie.
Rick proposed to Kelly from an incredibly romantic setting, overlooking the Empire State Building in New York on Wednesday.
He popped the question with a giant tear-shaped diamond on a delicate golden band after a year of dating.
The glitzy pair’s Instagram accounts have revealed their decadent lives with travel on private jets, holidays on superyatchs and luxury international travel.
Snaps on Kelly’s social media shows she has travelled across the world to the Greek Islands for a trip as well as been hosted on their friend’s super yatch and a five-star sight-seeing trip to London.
The couple have done a tour of five countries in six weeks including the UK, Canada and all across mainland Europe.
Real Housewives of Orange County star Kelly, who divorced ex-husband Michael Dodd last year, announced the proposal on Instagram with the caption: I can’t believe I just got engaged!”
Gushing over her silver fox, she added the hashtags: #love #engaged #myprince.
She added: “I’m so in love. I can’t believe this happened to me. I feel like I just won the lottery.”
Rick posted the same shot on Instagram with the caption: “Dreams do come true.”
This will be his second marriage, he divorced poker player Beth Shak in 2017 after getting married in 2016.
