EX STRICTLY Come Dancing star James Jordan has lashed out at the show’s latest professional routine as simply “a lot of walking around and posing.”
The dad-to-be didn’t hold back in his blunt critique of this week’s performance, which features all professionals from the BBC One series.
This week’s striking instalment saw Johannes Radebe, 32, take the lead in the opening number, where he performed in heels and brandished a fan saying “pose”.
The entire gang, who were joined on stage by the judges, performed a sassy routine that saw them brandishing fans with words like “pose”, “extra” and “slay” written on them, but all eyes were on Johannes.
Unlike the other male pros, the South African dancer slipped on a pair of heeled black boots for his segment, which became the focus of the entire dance.
In a stark analysis, James, who was axed from the series in 2014, took to his Twitter page to post: “For all of you saying how amazing that pro dance was I’m sorry but I have to disagree.
“Johannes was bloody amazing but apart from that there was just a lot of walking around and posing… that’s a fact.
“Just not my bag, I want to see Ballroom and Latin dancing that’s all.”
He later replied to a fan’s comment and quipped: “They walked more than I did on the golf course today.”
The no frills remarked garnered a lot of support on Twitter from Strictly’s substantial following.
One viewer posted: “I agree with you James. I loved Johannes, but far too much walking.”
A second added: “Yes it would be nice to see some actual dancing!”
Though one came to the defence of the pro’s, and put: “Disagree. The dance was fabulous.”
Sunday’s results show later saw ex footballer David James, and his professional partner Nadiya Bychkova, given the boot.
