X FACTOR fans are already loving the Celebrity of the show and now they are also going to enjoy an All Stars version in coming months.

Here’s all you need to know about the new series that’s heading to our screens …

What’s the difference between the regular X Factor, Celebrity and All Stars version?

The regular format of the show would see ordinary contestants audition in front of three (or four) judges, hoping that they will advance to the next round, which was famously known as Bootcamp.

From there, the panel will collectively choose 24 acts – which are divided by six for each category – for the next round where judges find out which category they will mentor for the series.

Currently, it’s not clear whether X Factor All Stars and Celebrity  X Factor will stick to this particular format, particularly since neither will be auditioning for a place on the show.

Some fans seem to think that the new spin-offs will go straight to the live shows, subsequently leaving out the famous Bootcamp stage, judges’ houses, among other things.

As more information develops, we’ll be sure to keep you informed.

When does The X Factor: All Stars air on ITV?

A date is yet to be confirmed for this new spin-off show.

However, we do know it will air shortly AFTER X Factor: Celebrity comes to an end.

With this in mind it is likely to be sometime in November 2019.

There is no regular X Factor this year and because it has been replaced by these two spin off shows.

Who is in the line-up of X Factor: All Stars?

The 15-year-old show has produced a string of internationally successful acts, including One Direction, Olly Murs and Little Mix.

However, it’s unlikely those acts will make an appearance as they have all gone on to achieve international success and have pretty hectic work schedules.

Here’s who is in the rumoured line-up so far:

• Leona Lewis – Leona competed on the third series of The X Factor in 2006, with her stunning vocals winning her the competition. Since then, she has released several albums, with her first, Spirit, coming out in 2007 and going 10x platinum in the UK.
• Alexandra Burke – After winning the show in 2008, Alexandra released hit singles Bad Boys, Broken Heels and Start Without You. The singer also has starred in West End show The Bodyguard and Sister Act The Musical.
• Shayne Ward – Shayne first rose to prominence as the winner of The X Factor in 2005, and earned his first number one that year with debut single That’s My Goal. More recently he swapped singing for acting and starred in Corrie.
• James Arthur – After winning The X Factor in 2012, James was sensationally dropped from Simon’s Syco record label two years later after becoming embroiled in a string of controversies. However he made his big comeback in 2017.
• Fleur East – Fleur made history when she became the first of the X Factor’s singers to reach number 1 on the iTunes chart while still performing on the competition. In 2018 she appaered on I’m a Celebrity.
• Stevi Ritchie – Stevi auditioned for X Factor in 2014 and sang Dance With Me Tonight by Olly Murs. He initially didn’t make it through to live shows, but Cheryl chose him to be the Over 25s wildcard.
• Jedward – Jedward were described by Simon Cowell as “not very good and incredibly annoying” when they auditioned for X Factor in 2009. They have since represented Ireland in Eurovision and fronted TV shows Jedward’s Big Adventure and OMG! Jedward’s Dream Factory, while making also making movie cameos in Keith Lemon: The Film and Sharknado 3.
• Wagner – Wagner was selected as Louis Walsh’s wild card during X Factor 2010, and his on-stage performances quickly became gold dust. In recent years Wagner encourages his fans to get in touch with him via his official Facebook page, which he mans himself.
• Honey G – Honey G rose to prominence on the thirteenth series of X Factor in 2016 starring as one of the Over 25s and mentored by Sharon Osbourne. During her time on X Factor, Honey proved to be a divisive contestant with some labelling her a novelty act, but others (including rap legend Snoop Dogg) branded her a credible rapper.

What is X Factor: Celebrity on air and what is the winner’s prize?

The X Factor: Celebrity kicked off on October 12 on ITV and it has a time slot set for 8.35pm every Saturday.

Traditionally, the winner receives a £1 million record deal under Syco Music, while their winning single is usually known to land the Christmas Number 1 spot.

In recent years, however – and with the ratings decreasing – previous winners of the show have failed to land the Christmas top spot.

This begs the question of whether X Factor bosses will be looking to switch things up and offer more than just a recording contract in the forthcoming series.
