PIERS Morgan has slammed a “snivelling coward” US diplomat’s wife who fled the UK after a Brit teen died in a horror hit-and-run smash.
The Good Morning Britain host hit out at Anne Sacoolas, 42, after she allegedly pulled out on the wrong side of the road and collided with 19-year-old Harry Dunn.

Mum-of-three Sacoolas initially cooperated with police – but later claimed diplomatic immunity and fled the UK.
Morgan says the “scandal” has “shamed” America and joined calls made by PM Boris Johnson urging the US to reconsider its decision to grant immunity.
Writing in his Daily Mail column, the TV host said: “Why should the wife of a diplomat be able to allegedly crash into a young motorcyclist, causing his death, and get away with it?
“What tremendous dignity the Dunns have shown, in the face of such tremendous suffering.
“And what marked contrast to sniveling Anne Sacoolas secretly scuttling off back home to avoid being made to answer for her actions.
“Shame on her for doing that.
“Shame on the U.S. authorities for allowing her to do that.
“And shame on President Trump if he doesn’t now do the right thing, and send her back.”
Sacoolas had been in the UK for three weeks when she allegedly smashed into Harry as he rode his motorbike outside RAF Croughton in Northamptonshire in August.
She was able to dodge justice after a special deal was put in place between the UK and the US which gives diplomats and their families based at RAF Croughton diplomatic immunity.
Usually, diplomatic immunity only covers those diplomats and their dependants based in London, reported Sky News.
The special arrangement has been in place as early as 1994 for this particular base, which is currently on lease to the American government and processes approximately one third of all US military communications in Europe.
It is understood Sacoolas’ husband was a senior spy based in the UK, with their children attending the same £19,000-a-year Winchester House private school where Harry’s dad Tim worked as a caretaker.
The teen’s family has begged the woman to return after the apparent “attempt to evade justice”.
Grieving mum Charlotte said: “We are utterly devastated by Harry’s loss. He was such a precious young man who was loved by all who knew him.
“Our lives have been shattered and our only crumb of comfort is the news that Harry was riding perfectly safely that night. He was not at fault in any way.
“However, with the terrible news that the other driver has left the country, seemingly in an attempt to evade justice, we are totally deprived of the ability to grieve and our lives are now painfully on hold.
“I bear the other driver no ill will. She must be suffering too given what she did, but she must return to the UK to face justice. It is only at that point that my family and I will be able to begin to put our lives back together and move forward from this needless tragedy.”
Dad Tim added: “We’re disgusted, appalled, how she could be having this cloak wrapped around her.
“I’m angry that someone could do this and then get on a plane and go. I can’t believe she’s living with herself.”
Downing Street today said the case was “extremely concerning” and urged the US to “reconsider their position” so “the justice process can take place”.
