WE’RE always on the lookout for that big accumulator win and here at Sun Racing Towers we hope to give you a leg up.
Today’s acca selections come from Catterick where there’s a competitive card to get your teeth into.
Everything feels a little deflated after Enable’s history-making bid hit the dust on Sunday afternoon.
But that’s the great thing about racing – there’s always another day!
This afternoon’s accumulator comes all the way from Catterick and this should finally be the time MIGHTY SPIRIT (2.10) gets her head in front.
John Dance’s two-year-old has run very well in some much better races than this and her best form places her well ahead of the rest here. She gets weight from all but one of her rivals and won’t mind the rain.
Charles Byrnes is as shrewd as they come and the fact he sends over MR SMITH (3.50) for this low-grade handicap suggests he could be a handicap snip.
The soft-ground lover will be at home in conditions and looks thrown in after two easy wins over hurdles in Ireland.
This is a big field but it would be a big shock if he didn’t go close at least with Dylan Hogan removing 5lb.
B FIFTY TWO (4.25) can finish off the treble in style.
He loves Catterick and has form figures of 12213 the last five times he’s travelled to the northern track.
Jane Elliott gets on well with him and he’ll be buoyed by a much better run last time out when finishing second at Ripon.
He should be able to strike now back at his favourite hunting ground off 1lb lower.
