CELEBRITY MasterChef made its anticipated return to our TV screens this summer for yet another thrilling series, with some of our favourite famous faces in toe.
As the competition heats up, we give you a rundown of everything there is to know about the hit BBC One show.
The 14th series of Celebrity MasterChef continues to be broadcast on BBC One on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays until Friday, October 11, 2019.
And it’s coming to an end THIS FRIDAY with the grand finale being aired at 8:30pm on BBC1.
And as with all the other episodes, the final will be available to watch on catch-up on the BBC iPlayer app once it’s aired.
Celebrity MasterChef is fronted by chefs John Torode and Gregg Wallace, who have been a part of the series since its revamp in 2005.
Vicky, who shot to fame on the MTV reality show Geordie Shore, is competing in the latest series of MasterChef.
She has previously appeared in I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! and hosted the spin-off show Extra Camp after winning the series in 2015.
Greg is an Olympic gold medallist known for competing for Team GB as a long jumper at the 2012 Summer Olympics and 2014 Commonwealth Games among other.
He has also competed in the 100m but his skill set lies in the field event, which earned him a bronze medal at the 2016 Olympics.
Dillian is a British professional boxer, who has held multiple regional heavyweight championship titles.
He has held the WBC Silver title since 2017, the WBO International title since 2018 and previously the British title from 2016 to 2017.
Neil is often referred to as football’s hardman for his antics on and off the football pitch.
When he retired he appeared on I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! and Celebrity Stars In Their Eyes in April 2006.
Over the course of six weeks, the celebrities battle it out to nab the winner’s trophy and the title of Celebrity MasterChef Champion 2019.
There is no other known reward for winning the series, a part of the fact the celebrity gets to gloat that they impressed top chefs John and Gregg.
John Partridge won Celebrity MasterChef 2018 and broke down in tear after he was announced as the champion.
The former EastEnders star had wowed judges for weeks with his culinary skills and could not hold back his emotions.
At the time, he sobbed: “It has been one of the best experiences of my life; I thought it was going to be all about cooking and about food and it ended up being so much more than that.
“I cooked to remember. To remind myself of who I am, where I’m from and what I can still be aand now to have actually won… it just feels really, really good.”
