CHANGING the duvet cover is our least favourite household job – it’s awkward, time-consuming and it always ends up just a little bit wonky.
And if you hate stripping the bed as much as we do, good news – John Lewis is now selling a coverless duvet.
The high-street giant is stocking the Night Owl duvet from The Fine Bedding Company in three different colours – blue, pink and grey.
With a block colour design on both sides, there’s no need for a cover – and with its extra-quick drying time and compressible fibres, it can be chucked into the wash and back on your bed in no time.
Thanks to its lightweight fibre filling, it can be squeezed into a washing machine without losing shape post-wash.
And it can be tumble dried, but also promises to air dry quicker than the average duvet.
With a 10.5 tog, it’s ideal for all seasons and comes in three different colours.
Prices start at £35 for a single, £45 for a double and £55 for a king size.
It also comes with a two-year guarantee and has been receiving rave reviews online off happy customers.
One said: “Lovely soft smooth duvet, washes like a dream and dries quickly.”
While another wrote: “Such a soft coverless duvet!
“Was very warm but also felt quite light when sleeping with it. Very easy to wash and dry and overall a really useful product!”
Parents especially were impressed with the duvet, with several saying it was useful for “the occasional accident”.
