A TWO-year-old boy was injured in a knife attack where a young man was repeatedly stabbed outside a pub.
The man, 24, was left fighting for life following the brutal assault outside the Flower Pot pub in West Bromwich, West Mids, at 6.40pm yesterday.
Police and paramedics raced to the scene after the man was set upon by a gang of thugs.
The little boy suffered minor injuries and was taken to hospital along with the man who remains in a serious condition today.
Detective Sergeant Paul Cook, of West Midlands Police, said: “I understand the concerns of the community and would like to offer reassurance that we’re doing all we can to establish what happened yesterday and find those responsible.

It comes as Britain battles a knife crime epidemic.
Just hours earlier a teenage boy was arrested over a stabbing in Sheffield.
The 17-year-old was held after a 40-year-old man was stabbed in the back and leg near the city’s Crucible theatre.
And Grime artist Krept was stabbed in a brawl at a BBC 1Xtra event in Birmingham on Saturday night.
