CHERYL joined forced with the sister of popstar Rita Ora for Nicola Roberts’ birthday bash – after her shock at Rita’s antics with the father to her child were revealed.
The Girls Aloud singer showed she held no grudges as she posed for a group photograph to celebrate her Girls Aloud bandmate’s 34th birthday, with Elena clearly seen on the side of the shot.
Both Cheryl, who looked stunning in a tweed jacket and lace bustier top and Elena, in a black coat, had huge smiles on their faces at the glitzy Chiltern Firehouse bash.
They were separated in the middle by model Neelam Gill.
Elena is Rita’s older sister, and also acts as her manager, an experience on which she will base details of her new book.
The pair appeared in great spirits despite how, just hours earlier, mum of one Cheryl’s fury at her youngster sibling had come to light.
The Sun revealed how Cheryl, 36, was watching at home with baby son Bear when she saw Liam and Rita in a clinch which she deemed “inapropriate.”
The pair were performing their Fifty Shades Freed duet For You when they got up to some risque moves on American TV.
Unimpressed Cheryl, who was dating ex-1D star Liam at the time, immediately reached for her phone.
She told Rita, 28: “That’s my boyfriend and the father of my child you’re flirting with — it’s disrespectful. Do you really think that’s necessary?”
Cheryl also confronted Liam, father to their son Bear, about the pair’s chemistry on The Tonight Show in January last year.
A friend said: “Cheryl was sitting at home alone with an 11-month-old baby asleep upstairs, watching her boyfriend on Jimmy Fallon’s show.
“She saw him and Rita all over each other, and Rita looking like she was going in for a kiss. Obviously it was very upsetting.
“She immediately texted Rita, asking her what the hell was going on. She said she thought it was inappropriate and basically asked her to back off.”
The source added that Rita was “mortified” and replied nothing was going on. “She told Cheryl she would never, ever go there in a million years.”
The pair have insisted they have patched up their differences, with the party picture seeming evidence of that.
