CONOR McGREGOR told Eddie Hearn to dance for him, after the former UFC champion was offered a return to boxing by the promoter.
Matchroom Boxing Chief Hearn admitted he would love to work with McGregor, who made his pro debut in the ring two years ago, losing by tenth round stoppage to Floyd Mayweather.
But The Notorious responded in typical fashion, tweeting: “Dance for me Eddie.”
Hearn, who promotes ex-heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua, is more than happy to bust a move for McGregor, as he admitted to iFL TV it would be a “dream to promote him.”
He said: “When he says, ‘Dance for me Eddie’, is that a good thing or a bad thing?
“I’ve asked a few people, they went, ‘Nah that’s good — yeah, Eddie, dance for me’.
“I’ll do whatever you want, mate. I will dance for Conor. No problem. I’ll dance for Conor all day. Just come sign with Matchroom and I’ll dance for you all day.
“It’s quite amusing. It’s like one of those things where you look at your phone, see all the notifications and think oh s***, what’s happened now.
“Conor McGregor’s tweeted about you. I said he’s a legend. He is. I don’t know, I’m guessing he’s going back to MMA.
“Whatever he’s involved with – any chance to be associated with him in his promotion – it would be a dream to promote him.”
UFC fans have grown frustrated with McGregor since his submission defeat to Khabib Nurmagomedov last October.
The Irishman is without a win since November 2016 in the cage, over 1,000 days, but has begun training for his next fight set for early 2020.
It comes after McGregor has been in trouble with the law while on the sidelines, while also suffering a hand injury that halted plans for him to return at UFC 244 in New York.
But fans could not help but rate The Notorious for his classic response to Hearn.
