THERE are a handful of top class races on Saturday and the Cheveley Park is one of the highlights on a sensational card.
The Newmarket faithful will be flocking to see Raffle Prize and she holds major claims among the 10-strong field.
Mark Johnston will be looking to land his first top-level success since The Last Lion struck in the Middle Park in 2016 – and he has a big chance of doing just that.
His two-year-old filly was a brilliant second behind Middle Park favourite Earthlight in the Prix Morny last time out as the top class A’Ali and Golden Horde toiled in behind.
A repeat of that effort should be good enough and after only a quintet of starts, she could improve further.
She’s already won on the July course and if performing as well on the Rowley, must have a massive chance.
Without doubt her most likely danger is Tropbeau.
Andre Fabre’s filly has done everything asked of her in her last three starts, winning twice in Group company at Deauville, and has more than earned this step up in grade.
Fabre is no stranger to sending his best to Newmarket, and his fillies in particular are always to be respected.
The drop in trip is a slight unknown but she probably has the pace to cope.

Etoile entered many a notebook after landing a Group 3 on her debut at Naas back in May and could be overpriced for her trainer who has such a fine record at the meeting.
Living In The Past downed hotpot sprinter Liberty Beach in the Lowther and that form looks strong for the grade, though she had an easy lead that day may not be afforded the same luxury here.
They’ll all struggle to catch RAFFLE PRIZE if she’s on her A game, though, and Mark Johnston could be looking at a potential Guineas horse for next year if she does the business in style.
