A SUPERYACHT powered entirely by liquid hydrogen has been unveiled, with luxury features that include a pool with a waterfall, a 50-foot VIP suite, and a helipad.
The concept design, named AQUA, was released by Dutch company Sinot ahead of this year’s annual Monaco Yacht Show.

The 367ft-long vessel will be among the first in the world to be powered by entirely by hydrogen fuel cells.
Its propulsion system will enable it to move through water silently, emissions-free, and at a top speed of 17 knots (around 20mph).
It will have a cruising speed of 12 knots (14mph) and a maximum range of 2750 nautical miles (3200 miles).
The facilities and rooms will be spread over five decks connected by a vast central spiral staircase.
Additional on-board features will include an extravagant dining hall and spacious viewing decks as well as a spa, gym, and cinema.
Guests will be ferried to and from the superyacht on luxurious 10m limo tenders.
Despite its vast size, the vessel will only accommodate 14 guests (plus 31 crew) at any one time.

Also included will be an on-board gym with ocean views[/caption]
The ship will be one of the first in the world to be powered entirely with hydrogen cells, which are emission-free and almost silent[/caption]
Unlike traditional combustion engines that burn fuel, fuels cells undergo a chemical process that converts hydrogen-rich fuel into electricity.
Hydrogen atoms are stripped of their electrons, which are siphoned off into a wire to generate an electrical current.
The only by-products of the cells are excess heat and liquid water.
They also have no moving part, so operate almost silently.
Hydrogen on board the Aqua will be stored at -253C in two 28-ton vacuum-isolated tanks, while its engines will generate 4.0MW, enough to power around 600 average homes.
The company that came up with the yacht said it “represents a significant progression towards achieving a new balance between nature and technology”.
Designer Sander Sinot describes what he set out to achieve with the design: “Our challenge was to implement [a] fully operational liquid hydrogen and fuel cells in a true superyacht that is not only groundbreaking in technology, but also in design and aesthetics.”
He added: “With every project, I challenge my team and myself to surpass ourselves.
“For development of AQUA we took inspiration from the lifestyle of a discerning, forward-looking owner, the fluid versatility of water and cutting-edge technology to combine this in a 112m superyacht with truly innovative features.”
